Oklahoma City police are confirming that a child is the victim of an accidental shooting. Authorities announced yesterday that a 10-year-old child accidentally shot herself near Southwest 84th Street and Villa, and that the gun was inside her mother's purse. The child was taken to a hospital for treatment, and the incident is under investigation.
