A major golf tournament is coming to Oklahoma. The LIV Golf League has selected Tulsa as one of its U.S. championship venues. The event is to take place May 12-14 at Cedar Ridge Country Club in Broken Arrow. It will feature twelve teams of golfers, including Dustin Johnson, Phil Mickelson, Sergio Garcia and Cam Smith in a head-to-head competition. Tickets are already available through LIV golf's website. Earlier this year, the PGA Championship was also held in Tulsa at Southern Hills Country Club.

"I'm glad that Cedar Ridge was selected as one of three new U.S. championship venues to host a LIV Golf tournament," said Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt. "Oklahoma’s golf courses are among the best in the world and we welcome the surge in economic activity hosting this tournament will bring to our state."
