Governor Kevin Stitt says he is in favor of legalizing sports betting in Oklahoma.Ā On social media, Stitt said he supports bringing sports betting to the Sooner State as long as it is fair and transparent, and the money can be used to fund top priorities like education.Ā This comes after State Representative Ken Lutrell filed a bill that would allow gambling on sports across the state and in tribal casinos.Ā Lutrell unsuccessfully tried to legalize sports betting in the previous legislative session, but filed another bill after conversations with tribal leaders and gaming experts.
