An arrest has been made as the search for a missing 4-year-old girl in Caddo County.
4-year-old Athena Brownfield was last seen in Cyril, southwest of Oklahoma City, on Tuesday. A mail carrier found the girl's five-year-old sister outside their home alone. Police drones and dogs have been searching the town. So far the search has led to more questions, including where the girls parents were and exactly how long the girl has been missing.
āWeāre still building that timeline [of her disappearance], and weāre talking to witnesses and neighbors and people in town,ā said Brook Arbeitman with the OSBI.
OSBI officials say Alysia Adams has been arrested on two counts of child neglect. Adams and her husband were the caregivers for the two sisters. The child has yet to be found.
