Sen. Nathan Dahm, R-Broken Arrow, has filed legislation banning state agencies or departments from implementing Critical Race Theory (CRT).
āOur state government shouldnāt allow anyone to be judged by the color of their skin,ā Dahm said. āWe must ban the teachings of CRT in all areas of our government, not just our schools.ā
Senate Bill 348 would prohibit every agency or department of the state, county or municipality, or political subdivision from adopting any policy or training materials to promote race or sex stereotyping or scapegoating.
āToday we remember the impact that Martin Luther King Jr. had on American society,ā Dahm said. āWe must advocate for a return to focusing on peopleās character, not just their external characteristics.ā
