City Provides Update On Storm Recovery

Tulsa Mayor G.T. Bynum thanked the state for the State of Emergency declaration. The mayor announced the Choctaw Nation was making ice available during a distribution today at Church on the Move at 1003 North 129th East Avenue.  Utility crews are continuing to restore electricity to thousands of homes and businesses in Tulsa and surrounding areas following last weekend's severe storms. As of this morning, more than 60,000 homes and businesses in the area remained without power. Officials announced earlier this week that most Public Service Company of Oklahoma customers in the Tulsa area can expect their electricity to be restored before 5:00 p.m. Saturday.
