A series of earthquakes hit central Oklahoma tonight. The United States Geological Survey reported the quakes were centered about 3 miles west of Arcadia, near I-35 north of Oklahoma City. The quakes hit between 9:30 and 10:00 p.m. and were felt across a large part of the state. The first quake with a preliminary magnitude of 3.2 hit at 9:37, followed by the stronger 4.2 at 9:46, and then some aftershocks, including a 2.5 that hit at 10:04 and another 2.5 at 10:24 p.m. Some residents were posting reports on social media about pictures falling off walls, but there are so far no reports of significant damage.
