The Oklahoma State Department of Education has a new Office of School Choice. State education officials made the announcement yesterday, asserting that the move will make it easier for parents and guardians to choose what's best for their children. During yesterday's Board of Education meeting, State schools superintendent Ryan Walters said parents have been asking educators for more control over their students' educational options.
