A devastating magnitude 7.4 earthquake has claimed nearly a dozen lives in Taiwan and left well over 900 injured. There are fears that the death toll may rise as dozens remain trapped in highway tunnels following the strongest earthquake to hit the island in 25 years. In addition, rescuers are making efforts to reach anyone who may still be inside severely damaged or collapsed buildings. The quake struck Wednesday morning, local time in Taiwan, where rescuers are now working in the dark. Experts say aftershocks as strong as magnitude 7 are possible in the coming days.
