Thunder Season Ends With Loss To Mavericks

The Oklahoma City Thunder season is over and the Dallas Mavericks are headed to the Western Conference Finals for the second time in three years.

Luka Doncic posted a triple-double with 29 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists as the Mavs knocked off the Thunder 117-116 in Game Six of their second round series in Dallas. Kyrie Irving and Derrick Jones Jr. added 22 points apiece for the Mavs, who advance to face either Minnesota or Denver in the West Finals. That series is headed to a Game Seven on Sunday.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander dropped in a game-high 36 points for OKC, which was seeking its first conference finals appearance since 2016. Jalen Williams donated 22 points and Chet Holmgren had 21 in the season-ending setback.
