DOJ Threatens To Sue Over Immigration Law

The U.S. Department of Justice is threatening to sue Oklahoma over its new law that calls for fining and incarcerating any non-U.S. citizen who enters the state. The law allows local law enforcement to arrest someone who is believed to be committing an "impermissible occupation" in the state of Oklahoma. After being convicted of violating the law, an undocumented migrant would be required to leave the state within 72 hours of being released from custody.
