Norman Mayor Larry Heikkila is joining the fight against a proposed toll road through parts of Cleveland County. A group of concerned citizens at risk of losing their homes due to the project asked for help from Norman officials last night. Heikkila told the group that he will be more hands-on in their fight and noted that he is also against the Oklahoma Turnpike Authority's plans.
