Recovery Assistance & How To Help Those Affected By Deadly Tornado Outbreak

If you were affected by last night's tornado outbreak and need a place to go the American Red Cross has a temporary shelter open for residents displaced by the storms at the Memorial Heights Baptist Church at 1500 W. Will Rogers Blvd in Claremore.

Red Cross disaster workers are also distributing meals, snacks, water and emergency supplies in Claremore and Pryor. They will reach areas as they become accessible. If you are in need of assistance, please call 1-800-RED CROSS.

You can also text REDCROSS to 9099 and $10 goes toward the disaster relief efforts. 

Oklahoma Baptist Disaster Relief has volunteers in Northeast Oklahoma today to help residents with tree debris and other needs. Call 1-844-690-9198 to request assistance or visit www.okdisasterhelp.org

Oklahoma Department of Emergency Management is asking residents impacted by the storms to report damages to their property at damage.ok.gov. Residents can report damage to homes, businesses or agriculture through the online survey.

For Oklahoma residents seeking non-emergency disaster or health and human service information, please contact your local 2-1-1. Services are available 24 hours a day by dialing 2-1-1 from your home or cellular telephone. Please only call 911 for emergencies.

Pixley Lumber Company in Claremore has placed free plywood in their parking lot for anyone who may need it.

The Will Rogers Roundup Club at Stampede Arena is providing free meals and a place to sit. This includes those affected by the storms and all first responders. Go to the north end of the arena and look for the Hospitality area.
