The state of Oklahoma is planning to help Texas in its flood response. Oklahoma has dispatched a Type One swift water rescue team that includes 16 Oklahoma Task Force One members from the Oklahoma and Tulsa fire departments, boats and equipment. Governor Kevin Stitt noted that Oklahoma is committed to helping other states during their time of need with any available resources.
