A number of Texas elected officials are attending this week's Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Attorney General Ken Paxton is present, along with his wife, state Senator Angela Paxton. Also in attendance are U.S. Senator Ted Cruz, U.S. Reps. Wesley Hunt, Ronny Jackson, and Brian Harrison, State Senators Tan Parker and Bob Hall, Dallas Mayor Eric Johnson, and Texas GOP Chairman Abraham George. On Monday, former President Donald Trump named Ohio Sen. J.D. Vance as his running mate.
